Welcome Drinks with apple and Cinnamon


Y1 were so happy to be in the cooking class in person that they deserved a great big welcome. Although this recipe was simply adding spices and fruity aromas to water, it was a perfect opportunity to introduce safety protocols associated to the new social distancing while presenting interesting ingredients including a variety of herbs, fruit and spices to our friends. The smiles on their faces showed us they loved it!

Ingredients
1 apple
1 pineapple
1 orange
1 stick of cinnamon
1 litre of water
Variety of herbs: mint, basil.

Method: Peel and slice pineapple. Cut apples, with or without peel, in small slices and remove pit. Do the same with the orange and mix all with water and cubes of ice in a jug. Add herbs and cinnamon. Serve cold.
