Veggie hand snacks – Y2


Y2 wrapped their vegetable and cheese fillings inside a lettuce leaf to make a healthy hand held snack. The filling was a mixture of tomatoes, carrots, avocadoes and sour cream. They all enjoyed making the sour cream from the cream cheese by adding lemon juice and spreading it all onto their lettuce wraps and they had a healthy snack to appreciate.

INGREDIENTS:
Sliced mozzarella cheese
Cream Cheese- 200g
2 spoons dairy cream.
½ diced avocado
1chopped tomato
1/2 squeezed lemon
I lettuce.

Method: 
Prepare the sour cream by adding dairy cream and lemon juice to the cream cheese. Then spread it onto the lettuce wrap and add a slice of cheese. Add the filling of grated carrots, diced avocado and diced tomatoes.
