Sweet Potato Chips

Love to have chips but want to be healthy at the same time? Check out how our students, at Dual Day, were able to learn to prepare this healthy snack.  Besides being delicious, sweet potato is rich in beta carotene, which becomes  vitamin A and support good vision and people’s immune system.

SWEET POTATO CHIPS
INGREDIENTS:
1 SWEET POTATO
1 TABLESPOON OF OLIVE OIL
1 PINCH OF SALT

STEPS:
1. WASH THE SWEET POTATO AND PREHEAT THE OVEN AT 180°C.
2. PLACE IT ON A CUTTING BOARD AND USE A PEELER TO GET THIN SLICES OUT OF IT, (KEEP THE PEELER AWAY FROM YOUR FINGERS!).
2 - BRUSH SOME OLIVE OIL ON A BAKING TRAY AND DISPOSE THE SLICES SIDE BY SIDE.
3 - BRUSH SOME MORE OLIVE OIL ON TOP AND SEASON WITH A PINCH OF SALT.
4 - TAKE IT TO THE OVEN, LET IT BAKE UNTIL GOLDEN (ABOUT 10 MINUTES) AND ENJOY!
