LETTUCE WRAPS - Y1

Y1 learned how to wrap their vegetable and cheese fillings inside a lettuce leaf to make a healthy hand held snack. The filling was a mixture of tomatoes, carrots, avocadoes, sour cream and black beans. They all enjoyed making the sour cream from the cream cheese by adding lemon juice and spreading it all onto their lettuce wraps.

INGREDIENTS

Sliced mozzarella cheese
Cream Cheese- 200g
2 spoons dairy cream.
½ diced avocado
1 chopped tomato
2 spoons black beans
1/2 squeezed lemon
1 lettuce.

Method: 

Prepare the sour cream by adding dairy cream and lemon juice to the cream cheese. Then spread it onto the lettuce wrap and add a slice of cheese. Add the filling made of grated carrots, diced avocado, diced tomatoes and a spoon of cooked black beans.
