Jack fruit juice - Y1


Y1 learned how to use the pulp from a jackfruit to make a refreshing beverage and to observe a fruit that is not commonly consumed although it is grown in many parts of Brazil. They also reviewed the famous “lemon hack” to produce some lemon juice to mix into the blender and grated the lime peel. They enjoyed adding ice cubes and mint. 

Ingredients:
1 Jack fruit- cooked fruit pulp
1 lemon or lime
1 spoon of sugar
1 spoon of honey (except in case of allergies)
1 small spoon of vanilla extract
1 Bunch of mint

Method: 
Cook the pulp and then separate the seeds from the pulp. Put the pulp in the blender with a cup of lime juice and grated lime peel and some mint leaves. Add sugar and/or honey to taste. If the pulp is not frozen, add ice cubes and blend. Serve in glass and decorate.
