Grape Surprise - Y2

Y2 students ended Dual Day cooking classes this semester with a typical June party recipe that was fun to make and eat, while challenging. It wasn’t easy to roll the “dough” balls of milk powder and coconut around the grapes, and it was also difficult to decorate them and wait before tasting their tempting creations.

INGREDIENTS
6 tbsp milk powder
1 tbsp coconut milk
200g green grapes
For coating and decoration:
grated coconut, grated chocolate. 

METHOD
Place milk powder in a bowl and mix with coconut, adding coconut milk gradually to obtain dough-like malleable texture. Flatten ‘dough’ in hand and insert fruit and coat it. Decorate to your preference, rolling balls in milk powder, coconut or grated chocolate.
