CREAMY PEANUT BAR

Y4 produced a recipe inspired by june parties that is both typical and tasty. They all had fun breaking the peanuts on a plate with a hammer and adding that to a ready-made preparation of condensed milk. They then added their own measures of cream and broken biscuit crumbs and simply enjoyed eating their own individual portions.

INGREDIENTS:

1 can of condensed milk
I cup (teacup) peanuts roasted and thinly broken (50g)
1 carton dairy cream
1/3 packet plain biscuits (133g)

METHOD:

1- Break the peanuts with a hammer or in a food processor and place them in a pan with condensed milk. Stir constantly with wooden spoon on minimum heat until sticky and starts to get darker if with adult, or just mix if alone.
2- If with adult, turn off heat. Add dairy cream and in bowl add peanuts and biscuit crumbs.
3- Place in layers in cups and keep in fridge to cool.
