Avocado Mousse
Y2 had online Cooking classes and we introduced the qualities of avocado and other ingredients such as coconut milk and cocoa powder. Altogether, these resulted in a tasty recipe that was possible to be prepared manually. Although the final product presented some lumps, the coconut milk and the honey gave it all an exotic taste and after some time in the fridge it had the consistency of a mousse.
Ingredients:
1 or 2avocados; some drops of lemon juice; 1 /2banana; 2 to 3 large spoons of coconut milk; 2 to 3 large spoons of cocoa powder; 2 spoons honey
Method:
Cut avocado in halves and remove pit. Cut lemon or lime and squeeze some drops of juice to prevent browning of avocado. With a spoon, remove the avocado pulp from the skin and squash it with a fork in a bowl until you obtain a very fine, smooth paste. Peel the banana and smash it in a separate bowl for better results and add to avocado when all smooth. Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and coconut milk and some honey. Mix all and keep in fridge to cool.
