SUSTAINABILITY and THE SENS

The library is promoting events about Sustainability that are related to each our senses: sight. Smell, hearing, taste and touch.
The first event of this series was on WORLD WATER DAY, March 22nd and we made the connection with our sense of SIGHT.

SUSTAINABILITY and SIGHT

We displayed the results of an experiment that tries to show that some things cannot be seen with our naked eye:
Do you believe that your words and feelings can change the appearance of water crystals?
The book, “Hidden Messages in Water” by Dr. Masaru Emoto, shows experiments he did to try to prove that attitudes can interfere with reality.
The library also put on a Powerpoint Slide Show of his book, made especially for children, during the week.
On March 26th, at PLAYTIME, a film with an interview with Dr. Masaru Emoto, was shown in the Multimedia Room. The kids brought their snacks and watched the film.
